Summit Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Bellingham, Washington, working 36 hours per week in a Level II Trauma Center. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 1 year of experience, with preference given to those with 2 years of acute care experience and advanced certifications such as RRT, ACLS, and PALS. The role involves working with patients affected by conditions like COPD, asthma, and sepsis across various units including ER, ICU, Labor and Delivery, and Pediatrics.

  Years of Experience REQ: 1 yr exp required, 2 yrs preferred. Minimum of 2 years Experience in acute care as a Respiratory Therapist Preferred. Minimum of 1 year Experience in a pulmonary function lab Preferred. Experience in ICU, Pediatrics, or Obstetrics Preferred
  Epic Experience REQ: 1 yr required
  First-Timers Accepted: yes
  Weekend REQ: TBD
  Certs REQ: RRT, ACLS, PALS, and WA Respiratory Care Practitioner. (Washington caregivers who were employed as of 6/29/2014 and who are licensed RCP but are not registry eligible due to the
  educational requirement (i.e., began working as a respiratory therapist when a 2-year degree was not required/available) will be grandfathered for this requirement)
  Is on-call REQ? No
  Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No but they do work on ER, ICU, Labor and Delivery, Peds, Medical Floors
  Common Equipment: Draegger, V60, Vapotherm, Hamilton T-1
