A fantastic opportunity is now available in a beautiful Northwestern Washington State Critical Access Hospital seeking an NP Hematology Oncology.
The NP Hematology Oncology will work within a Comprehensive Cancer Program, and will play a crucial role in the lives of all the patients. The Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner will report to the Cancer Center Administrator and collaborate with a team of 6 other Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Coordinators, Nursing Staff, and Social Workers will support the Oncology Medical Director.
The NP Hematology Oncology will be working with patients suffering from a number of types of Cancer, and are responsible for making each patient comfortable, motivated and understanding of the treatment plan. The patient population of the unit is highly unique and specialized, with a variety of Cancer prognosis.
The NP Hematology Oncology will evaluate the physical and psychological state of the patient, and will provide support to patients by participating in-patient and family teaching counseling and support. The NP Hematology Oncology will provide education, teach and mentor new staff and students.
The NP Hematology Oncology will work alongside with the hospital's expert oncologists, surgeons, nurses, and many other ancillary staff that specialize in not only the diagnosis but also the treatment of cancer.
